CELEBRATE AUSTRALIA DAY: "A chance to celebrate everything that is great about being Australian" and Mayor, Graeme Lehmann backed up his words with an invitation to the Choir to showcase their talents at the Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony on the 26th January 2012. With the usual high performance standard people have come to know and love, they managed to help spread the Aussie spirit through their "Service in Song" to all and sundry.
The Esk Community Choir has been an integral part of the township of Esk and the wider Somerset Community for 34 years and their musical contribution to this year's Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony was lauded with deserved praise and a fitting finale to a very special day.
