WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

ESK COMMUNITY CHOIR ADDS VOICE TO WORLD DAY OF PRAYER.

All souls were in tune when members of the Esk Community Choir led the congregation in song at this year's World Day of Prayer in Esk.
The World Day of Prayer Movement, initiated by women and today including men and women alike, held annually on the 1st Friday in March has, since the 19t Century, brought people from Countries all over the World together in places large and small for a day of celebration of friendship, closer understanding and action.
This year, Esk's celebration of World Day of Prayer was hosted by the Assembly of God, led by their new Minister, Father Patrick Deller and in true sharing of the Christian values that undepin the annual prayerful celebration, held in the Uniting Church.
Following the inspirational service, momentum of tradition was kept alive when five ladies, members of the Esk Community Choir, enjoyed the fellowship of a shared moment around the lunch table at "The Rectory".
