Some
delicious Country cooking wasn't the only thing served up at the RSL Hall, Esk,
for St John Biarra Lodge's Instillation Ceremony on Saturday 12th May.
During an
evening when fellowship and harmony were the flavour of the occasion, Grand
Masters and the Brotherhood of Freemasons from all points of the compass came
together to celebrate the installation of the new Executives for Esk's St John
Biarra Lodge and to acknowledge and award with pride the highly prized Charity
Medal for the contributions made by Glen Peters over the period of his service
with the Lodge.
Privileged
to be invited and to share with the Masons and their partners, not only their
wonderful bonhomie and fellowship, but also some of the traditions and
treasures, mystified by secrecy over the centuries of the Freemasons' existence,
were Alexis, Suzanne, Kathie and Sue who, with their much appreciated
contribution of instrumental and vocal musical items, added another dimension
to the harmony of the occasion.
A heartfelt
thank you from us to the St John Biarra Lodge for their gracious hospitality.
